Wendy said:

I would encourage folk in Linwood to get in contact with Carolann and make a New Year resolution to commit to a healthy lifestyle change in 2006. As an ‘about to be new mum’ I hope I will get the chance to try out Buggy Fit later in the Spring.”

Carolann says:

“This is such an exciting opportunity to drive forward community health in Linwood and I am really looking forward to working alongside the Linwood community.”

The Chair of Renfrewshire Community Health Initiative, Doreen Polson added that she was delighted that RCHI were given the opportunity to bring the skills that the team have applied to other parts of Renfrewshire to develop community health in Linwood.

Doreen said,

“I think it is a great opportunity for the people of Linwood to get involved as they have missed out in what has been going on in different areas for such a long time.  It is an opportunity to meet new people in Linwood who they might be living next door to but never have met.  It is all about working together and could open doors for the future”.
