Climate Change
Climate change is the biggest challenge facing the world. In Scotland, the Parliament passed a visionary Climate Change Act in June 09. The challenge is now to make those promises about 80% reductions in CO2 by 2050. It means radical action now. As a member of the Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee of the Parliament, Wendy has been deeply involved in its recent Energy Enquiry. Of course setting targets is the easy bit the policy challenge going forward is to deliver on these targets.
